Sultan Mosque Suriansyah Banjarmasin

This mosque can be known age from 2 pieces of the inscription written on the octagonal field size of 50 cm x 50 cm on two doors Lawang Agung. At the door right there are 5 lines of Arab-Malay inscription reads: "Ba'da hijratun The Prophet alahihi wassalam Sunnah ngaran Wawu Year 1159 at the Sultan Tamjidillah Banjar Affairs in the Kingdom of the remnants of the glorious land."

While on the left door there are 5 lines of Arab-Malay inscription reads: "Kiai Damang Astungkara establish endowments Lawang Agung Mosque in Nagri Banjar Darussalam on Tuesday in the month Sha'ban sapuluh day when it (illegible)". Both of these inscriptions show on Monday tanghgal 10 Sha'ban 1159 has lasted manufacture Lawang Agung (renovation of the mosque) by Kiai Demat Astungkara during the reign of Sultan Tamjidillah I (1734-1759).

In the pulpit made of ironwood are arch pulpit with calligraphy reads "God Muhammadarasulullah". In the upper right there it says "Krono Legi: Rajab 1296 Hijra Tuesday, 17", being on the left there is the inscription: "God subhanu wal hamdi al-Haj Muhammad Ali al-Najri".
