Great Mosque "Masjid Agung" Banten

The Great Mosque is located in the village of Banten Banten Lama, District Kasemen, Serang, Banten Province. About 10 miles north of Serang. Visitors can get to the location by private vehicle or public transportation. From the terminal Terminal Pakupatan, Serang Banten Lama majors by bus or chartered town car transportation to the location for about half an hour.

Banten Grand Mosque was first built by Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin (1552-1570), the first sultan of Banten Sultanate is also the first son of Sunan Gunung Jati, Cirebon Sultan. Making the Great Mosque of Banten Being one of the 10 oldest mosque in Indonesia.
