Puspa Agro Indonesia Largest Agribusiness Market

After eight years of waiting, the East Java market finally had a parent's first integrated modern agribusiness in Indonesia, namely in Jemundo Village, Taman, Sidoarjo.

Wholesale market that is named Puspa Agro was inaugurated Coordinating Minister Hatta Rajasa who witnessed the Minister of Trade Mari Elka Pangestu, Minister of Agriculture Suswono, and the Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Fadel Muhammad. 


Only, that was inaugurated yesterday the first phase of three planned phases. As the name implies, is specific markets to sell their agricultural products, plantation, fishery, and livestock.

Market Phase I are intended for small traders to wholesalers has 1045 stall that 30 percent of them filled the farmers from 22 districts in East Java. Meanwhile, phase II is scheduled to operate in December 2010 contains a 4000 stall plus cold storage facilities, chiller, auction house, as well as feasibility testing laboratory food.
